When we arrived home he was so relieved and happy that he was a bit annoying. He was fine with Meshee as she set the rules. She was the boss and he accepted that from the beggining. I am smiling and crying remembering all of this right now.
One thing that I will never forget is the first meal I gave to Donovan. I got a Meshee's dish, filled up with food and gave to him. Geez he was so hungry. He ate all of that in seconds like a vacuum cleaner. It would be funny if it wasn't sad. He ate like that for a few days then he learn some manners with Meshee. We got him his own dish, colar and leash.
He was the kind of dog that would follow you everywhere, sit on your feet, lay on your lap and if you lay down on the floor he would lay on your chest or sit on your head.
Meshee is more like pet me please dog which is cute but she doesn't follow us as Donovan do or try to sit on us. They are two different kinds of dog that are soon to be best friends.
Sunny then got a tennis ball we had and through it to Donovan. We had a small backyard that was big enough for them to chase each other for a bit or even for a small ball chase.
Sunny then got the ball and through it into the backyard and ask Donovan to chase the ball. Believe it or not he didn't know what to do with that. He had never played with a ball before. I don't remember exactly but after three or four attempts he was in love. In love with the ball chase game. He was obsessed with balls since.
This is a newer video though
